Album Romney George - Carnet 2 -, folio 19, dessiné au verso ; Second des cinq carnets de formats différents composant un album factice de forme rectangulaire, relié en parchemin blanc, placé dans un emboîtage également en parchemin, et constitué vers la fin du siècle dernier par le collectionneur Xavier Haas. Ce carnet, comme le premier et le troisième, a vraisemblablement été exécuté pendant le voyage et le séjour de Romney en Italie de juillet 1773 à juillet 1775, ou dans l'année qui suivit son retour à Londres (cf. J. Roberts dans cat. exp. D'Outre-Manche : l'art britannique dans les collections publiques françaises, Paris, Musée du Louvre, 1994).
