Précisions sur cette oeuvre : En 1897, Féret Phulidor demande l'extension de son usine de boutons qui comprend déjà trois ateliers de fabrication, une salle des machines, un entrepôt industriel et une écurie. En 1904, l'usine, connue alors sous la raison sociale Féret Mascre, devient Guérault Lemarinier, Manufacture Générale de boutons de nacre.
