Vase panse haute à col évasé. Fond bleu de cobalt au grand feu, réserve blanche ornée d'une composition florale au petit feu encadrée de dorures. Dorure verticale à l'arrière. Filets de dorure au col et au pied. Intérieur bleu de cobalt au grand feu. Pied à double lèvres circulaires sans couverte. Creux au centre, recouvert de couverte portant la marque au tampon en vert 'Henri Fouque France St Gaudens'.

L'oeuvre date de la 3e quart 19e siècle. Note sur cette oeuvre : FOUQUE : Toulouse, 1798 ; Toulouse, 1871 ; issu de la lignée de faïenciers Fouque et Arnoux, originaires de Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). Fondateur de la manufacture en 1830, il succède en 1849 à son neveu Léon Arnoux à la tête de la manufacture de faïences et porcelaines de Saint-Gaudens/Valentine (Haute-Garonne). Il la dirige jusqu'en 1864.
