Grand vase en porcelaine blanche. Forme circulaire, à col rétréci, sans anse. Décor uniforme de fleurs polychromes au petit feu et de feuilles, vert, marron et bleu de grand feu. Rehauts de dorure sur les couleurs de grand feu + figuration des feuilles et des tiges. Un liseré doré au col, un autre au pied. Marque ne creux sous le pied: '_o_' et '2' (ou 'h'?) + estampille 3 Henri Fouque, Saint-Gaudens, France' + étiquette 91.40.01 Bulles sur marron de grand feu. Une trace marron à l'intérieur du col.

Le sujet de cette oeuvre : ornementation (ornement à forme végétale, feuille, fleur). L'oeuvre appartient à la 3e quart 19e siècle. On sait de cette oeuvre que : FOUQUE : Toulouse, 1798 ; Toulouse, 1871 ; issu de la lignée de faïenciers Fouque et Arnoux, originaires de Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). Fondateur de la manufacture en 1830, il succède en 1849 à son neveu Léon Arnoux à la tête de la manufacture de faïences et porcelaines de Saint-Gaudens/Valentine (Haute-Garonne). Il la dirige jusqu'en 1864.
