Description
Argent, métal doré et verre ; Médaillon ovale comprenant une plaque en argent fondu représentant un lion et une lionne dans un paysage exotique avec palmier et rocher, le tout ciselé au naturel. Au centre du talus est rapportée une touffe d'herbe découpée dans une feuille d'argent selon un procédé caractéristique de Kirstein. Ce détail permettait d'augmenter l'effet naturaliste de l'ensemble. Le haut-relief est protégé par un verre bombé serti dans un cadre à moulures de torsades et frises de marguerite estampée. Ce médaillon était probablement inséré dans un cadre en bois. Sous le talus feuillagé apparaît la signature gravée en pointillé 'Kirstein'
