Simon & Halbig (1839-1932) La Société Simon et Halbig a été fondée en 1839. Elle était située à Gräfenhaim près d'Ohrdruf en Thuringe. Cette Société produisit de nombreuses têtes de poupées d'excellente qualité pour des Maisons telles que Kammer et Reinhardt ou la Maison Cuno et Otto Dressel en Allemagne mais aussi Jumeau en France entre autres. Simon et Halbig va permettre de grandes innovations dans l’industrie de la Poupée. Par exemple, ils sont les premiers à utiliser des cils naturels ou à créer des têtes à bouche ouverte. Le succès de sa collaboration avec Kämmer et Reinhardt sera tel que les deux entreprises fusionneront en 1920. La production s’arrêtera néanmoins en 1932.
