Le privilège pour la fabrication de la faïence accordé en 1664 à Claude Révérend fut cédé en 1666 par celui à son frère François Révérend, cité pour avoir fourni des faïences à Versailles; en 1674, la fabrique fut louée à Pierre Chicaneau qui mourut en 1677; l'entreprise fut alors continuée par ses fils et par sa veuve, née Coudray; celle-ci se remaria en 1679 au faïencier nivernais Henri Trou et racheta en 1683 l'établissement et le privilège; la manufacture dut sa protection du duc d'Orléans à Henri Trou; à partir de 1706, Berthe Coudray fut associée avec ses fils Pierre Chicaneau et Henri II Trou; ce dernier reprit l'affaire de 1722 (date du renouvellement du privilège) à 1746 et eut pour successeur son fils Henri François Trou; ce dernier prit un associé Edme Choudard des Forges en 1764 et fit faillite en 1766 après avoir perdu le privilège.
