Fondée vers 1718 par Pierre Fauquez, la manufacture fut dirigée par son fils François-Joseph à partir de 1740, où il introduisit la technique du petit feu. Jean-Baptiste Fauquez, entré dans la fabrique en 1766, l'amena à son meilleur niveau de production. La concurrence des faïences fines anglaises, puis la Révolution, précipitèrent la fin de la manufacture. Vendue à Antoine Fourmestreaux en 1795, elle ferma définitivement ses portes en 1810.
