FAÏENCE STANNIFÈRE / SCEAUX / CHAPELLE 1748-1763 : Jacques Chapelle (Grand-Gentilly 1721-Paris 1773) fut un chimiste et faïencier. Il s'associe avec François Bey créateur de la manufacture de Sceaux en 1735 et y reste jusqu'à revendre l'affaire dans les années 1770 ce qui lui permet de rejoindre Pont-aux-Choux en 1773.
