Description
Faïence stannifère de petit feu peint polychrome. Email stannifère très blanc et homogène ; émaux colorés en net relief. Sucrier à base ovale, bord légèrement chantourné, avec filet brun. Couvercle emboité à bords débordants et échancrure pour la cuillère; prise en forme de poire verte avec feuilles. Décor floral de bouquets sur le corps et le couvercle. Le présentoir manque.

L'oeuvre a été exécutée en faïence stannifère, peint polychrome, petit feu. L'oeuvre présente les dimensions suivantes : Hauteur en cm 12,5 ; Longueur en cm 17 ; Largeur en cm 13. Le motif représenté : poire,figue,fleur,bouquet. Cette pièce remonte à la 2e quart 18e siècle;3e quart 18e siècle. Note sur cette oeuvre : FAÏENCE STANNIFÈRE / SCEAUX / CHAPELLE 1748-1763 : Jacques Chapelle (Grand-Gentilly 1721-Paris 1773) fut un chimiste et faïencier. Il s'associe avec François Bey créateur de la manufacture de Sceaux en 1735 et y reste jusqu'à revendre l'affaire dans les années 1770 ce qui lui permet de rejoindre Pont-aux-Choux en 1773.
