Le musée des Beaux-Arts est un établissement muséal labellisé, installé à Brest (Finistère). Pour ce qui est de l'histoire de l'établissement, Les collections du premier musée de Brest se sont constituées à partir de 1875.
Elles ont été détruites en quasi-totalité dans l'incendie qui a suivi les bombardements en juillet 1941.

En 1959, le musée prend une orientation ethnographique, avec la constitution d’une collection de cornemuses. A partir de 1964, la collection est axée sur les beaux-arts, et particulièrement la peinture. Les atouts de ce musée sont : Marines. Ecole de Pont-Aven. Symbolisme.
