Ayant à coeur de se doter d'un équipement culturel dédié au design graphique, la Ville de Chaumont ouvre un nouveau lieu, en 2017, baptisé « le Signe, centre national du graphisme », dont l'un des objectifs est d'assurer la gestion de cette collection.

Il dispose de plusieurs atouts : Le design graphique. Son intérêt : Réhabilitation de l'ancienne Banque de France à Chaumont et extension par le cabinet d'architecte Moatti-Rivière.
