Musée Daniel Vannier
Le musée Daniel Vannier se trouve à Beaugency en Centre-Val de Loire et bénéficie du label « Musée de France ». Concernant son passé, Le musée a été créé en 1925 par la Société des amis du vieux Beaugency avec la municipalité et le département.
En 1927, le musée Régional de l’Orléanais s’installe dans l’édifice. Il y demeure jusqu'à sa fermeture en 2009. Depuis le 13 juillet 2021, le Château de Beaugency accueille un centre d’art numérique. Il se distingue par : Ensemble mobilier populaire régional.
Collections de vêtements traditionnels et notamment 500 coiffes et objets de la vie quotidienne.
Son intérêt principal : Château de Dunois, construit sur l'emplacement de l'ancienne forteresse des seigneurs de Beaugency dont Jean, le bâtard d'Orléans, fût le compagnon d'armes de Jeanne d'Arc.
Le château est resté dans la famille d'Orléans jusqu'à la Révolution française puis vendu comme Bien national et racheté par le Département pour y faire le dépôt de Mendicité de 1839 à 1925. Ses fonds sont consacrés à : Ethnologie, Histoire.
