Description
Vase à frises nombreuses sur la panse et le col, deux petites anses en haut du col ; patine noire (description Lansyer) Ce vase en bronze de style archaïsant est constitué de deux parties emboîtées. Le pied évasé est décoré d’une frise de capridés stylisés surmontés de deux bandes de spirales carrées leiwen, avec trois excroissances en forme de tête de créatures mythologiques. La panse présente des zones décoratives en forme de triangles inversés contenant des motifs de cigales stylisées sur fond de spirale leiwen, un motif que l’on retrouve notamment sur les bronzes de la dynastie Shang. L’épaule arbore deux frises de volutes en faible relief. Le col amovible est couvert de motifs géométriques disposés en registres successifs et portait à l’origine deux anses en ronde-bosse en forme de nuages ou d’ailes, dont l’une a disparu. Il ne reste que le trou dans lequel elle venait s’enchâsser.
