Description

Vase à grosse panse, col étroit avec 7 renflements en forme de côtes sortant d'une frise ornée de deux mascarons. (description Lansyer) Ce vase en bronze présente un petit pied, une panse globulaire se rétrécissant sur un col godronné se terminant par un court goulot à rebord légèrement évasé. Le pied présente une frise décorative de spirales carrées leiwen en bas-relief, tandis que la partie supérieure du col arbore des motifs de taotie, ce masque de figure de glouton dépourvu de mâchoire inférieure. De chaque côté de la naissance du col sont disposées en guise d’anses deux têtes d’unicornes (chin. luduan) en ronde-bosse. La pièce ne porte aucune inscription et se caractérise par une belle patine brune.
