Description
Panier en cuivre martelé, incrusté d'étain, patine brune, orné de tresse de suspension. (description Lansyer) Panier + tresse de supsension Vase en forme de corbeille en bronze reposant sur trois petits pieds en forme de tétons. Deux grandes ouvertures ovales de chaque côté de l’anse permettent d’attacher des liens en tissu au vase et de suspendre celui-ci. Les bords du vase sont décorés de ferrures en bronze en forme de fleurs. Sur les côtés, le vase est incrusté de plaques d’argent ciselées en forme de lions bouddhiques parmi les pivoines, un motif décoratif classique de l’art chinois et japonais. La forme incurvée vise à souligner l’harmonie esthétique des fleurs. Aucune inscription.
