Description
Porcelaine à décor bleu et blanc ; Poterie émaillée. Fabrication coréenne du XVIIIe siècle. 'Gargoulette' octogonale à long col, fond blanc orné de médaillons contenant des fleurs décoratives en bleu fixe. Haut 0.24cm. Largeur de la panse 0.48 cm ; (Note pour le musée de Sèvres sur les objets contenus dans la caisse envoyée par M. Collin de Plancy à S.E.M. le Ministre de l'Instruction publique et des beaux-arts) 2° Gargoulette à fleurs bleues et à médaillons considérée comme étant du XVIIIe siècle (Archives Sèvres, 4 W 389) ; Vase de la fin de la période Joseon, aux col et corps épais et au pied taillé de façon nette. D'une hauteur de 48 cm, il est l'un des plus grands vases de l'époque qui nous soient parvenus. Deux types de motifs bleus ont été dessinés : les sept signes de bon augure groupés en quatre cercles à la base du col, et deux fois deux cercles sur le ventre, représentant alternativement des fleurs de prunelliers et des oeillets de Chine dans un pot.
