Description
Haut vase à col très allongé, anses, forme trompes; patine marbrée , brun et rouge. (description Lansyer) Ce vase en bronze de belle facture présente un pied court, une panse basse et arrondie et un long col assez étroit de section octogonale se terminant par une lèvre légèrement évasée à bord droit. Deux têtes d’éléphant stylisés à la trompe sinueuse en ronde-bosse sont disposées symétriquement de chaque côté de la partie inférieure du col et font office d’anses. Le pied et la partie médiane du col présentent des registres de motifs archaïsants en bas-relief montrant des spirales carrées leiwen et des masques taotie. Le vase n’est pas inscrit.
