Suite de 20 gravures numérotées représentant des nains bossus dans différentes positions et activités. ; La série des Gobbi, "bossus" en italien, est l'une des plus célèbres du graveur lorrain Jacques Callot. Elle se compose normalement de 21 planches, gravées à Nancy d'après des dessins réalisés à Florence en 1616. En effet, lors de son séjour en Italie, l'artiste a pu observer cette troupe de nains difformes, acteurs, danseurs et musiciens. Cette série s'inscrit pleinement dans la tradition du grotesque. Celle conservée au musée de Saint-Lô est toutefois incomplète puisqu'il manque la planche n°21. ; technique précisée par les restauratrices lors de la campagne de dépoussiérage de 2017
