Description

La 11e planche évoque la manifestation du 17 octobre 1961, réprimée dans le sang par les forces de police. La planche est construite comme une scène d'action dont le mouvement est accentuée par l'inclinaison du cadre de plusieurs vignettes. La première montre une vue d'ensemble en plongée de la fin de la manifestation : les policiers debout et casqués, les manifestants au sol et baignant dans leur sang; l'un d'eux, le père de Khalil, tente de se relever et de fuir le massacre. Halim Mahmoudi a réalisé cette planche en construisant le dessin autour d'un crayonné qu'il a accentué de feutre, puis encré au pinceau. Les couleurs et l'effet flouté de la sixième case ont ensuite été produits à l'aide d'un logiciel informatique.
