Description
Sardonyx grise (inférieure) et brune (supérieure où intaille), type P3 ; 'La déesse est assise sur un tabouret, le corps de trois quarts, la tête de profil vers la gauche; elle est vêtue d'une tunique et une draperie forme un bourrelet à la hauteur des cuisses. La tête est tourelée. La déesse porte une corne d'abondance contre son bras gauche et tend une patère de sa main droite. Sol. Il est parfois difficile de nommer la divinité; les objets qu'elle porte sont communs à d'autres personnages comme Fortuna ou Concordia' Guiraud, M.S.E. LVI, p. 145, n° 15 ; 'Génie assis, coiffé d'une couronne tourelée, tenant de la main gauche une patère et de la main droite une corne d'abondance' Inventaire I.C., Bulliot, p. 275 ; 'L'intaille a est une pierre très épaisse et biseautée à différentes couches horizontales (brun foncé, brun clair, calcédoine grise puis laiteuse), figurant Fortuna à droite tenant la corne d'abondance et une patère, et ayant sur la tête les attributs d'Isis.
