Description
Théière en fer, damasquinée d'argent et d'or, couvercle bronze marron. (description Lansyer) décors d'insectes et de fleurs sur le corps et l'anse Théière + couvercle théière en fonte (tetsubin) de forme circulaire, agrémentée d’un bec verseur et d’une anse rattachée à deux supports en forme de souches disposés de chaque côté du rebord. La fonte a été martelée pour obtenir une surface irrégulière au relief unique. La panse présente deux zones décoratives réalisées à l’aide d’incrustations (damasquinures) d’argent et d’or. Une de ces zones est en forme d’éventail contenant un motif de cerisier en fleurs, la silhouette du tronc ayant été incisée dans la fonte. Les fleurs et les pétales sont figurés par des incrustations d’or et d’argent. La seconde zone en forme de cœur présente un motif d’hibiscus en argent incrusté auprès duquel volette une guêpe incrustée d’or. L’anse moulée légèrement incurvée est décorée d’une branche de prunier en fleurs en incrustation d’argent. La théière est pourvue d’un couvercle en bronze patiné avec bouton de préhension en forme de fleur.
