Description
Ce surtout a été commandé au sculpteur Pierre Blondeau et mis en fabrication en 1776 d'après les projets fournis antérieurement par Jean-Baptiste Oudry. L'influence persistante d'Oudry sur la porcelaine de Sèvres est notoire. Indépendamment, les chasses d'Oudry, suite de tapisseries tissées aux Gobelins sous le règne de Louis XV, furent peintes entre 1779 et 1781 sur plaques de porcelaine. Livré, sur l'ordre verbal du roi, à S.A.R. Mgr le duc d'Aumale, pour le château de Chantilly, le 10 mai 1847, (Arch. M.N.S. Vbb fo16) valeur totale 3.450 fr.
