Description
Fiche n° 173 Statuette de procession composée d'une figurine de Sainte Vierge, bras croisés et long vêtement drapé, en bois recouverte de peinture fixée à l'extrémité d'un manche. La peinture, blanche du manche et de la statuette, est très écaillée. Le bras gauche de la Vierge et son socle, en bois tourné présentant des moulures, sont cassés. De ce socle partent verticalement trois tiges en fer formant trois arcs autour de la statuette. Cinq grappes de raison en bois et des feuilles de vignes en métal sont accrochées à ces tiges. Elles se rejoignent au-dessus de la statuette, à la base d'un chapiteau de forme conique rehaussé à son extrémité d'un fleuron et dans la pointe duquel est fixé une sphère en métal gris servant de lampe à huile (une mèche s'échappant de la sphère). Une plaque est soudée sur cette sphère, elle présente les inscriptions suivantes : " ACCESSOIRES / POUR L'HORTICULTURE / J C TISSOT ET CIE / PARIS / 31, RUE DES BOURDONNAIS ". Cette lampe est sans doute une pièce rapportée à l'objet de procession.
