Description
statuette en métal cuivreux ; "Statuette de la déesse Mout, épouse d'Amon, déesse mère (son nom veut dire mère) vénérée à Karnak dans son propre temple. Elle porte sur sa perruque la dépouille de vautour-femelle, dont le nom est également Mout. La tête de vautour se dresse en relief sur le front tandis que les ailes et la queue sont représentées de façon très stylisée en gravure sur l'arrière de la tête. La déesse porte un pschent, les deux couronnes du Sud et du Nord associées. Représentée dans une attitude statique, un bras le long du corps l'autre en avant, elle porte une longue tunique moulante qui s'arrête aux chevilles et souligne un buste très long et une taille très étroite, proportions caractéristiques de la Troisième Période Intermédiaire."
