Description

statuette en métal cuivreux ; "Femme à tête de chat aux oreilles particulièrement grandes. Elle porte une robe longue et collante à manches courtes. Bastet porte ses attributs traditionnels : au bras gauche un petit panier et dans la main gauche, une égide, objet liturgique. De la main droite, elle agite un sistre. Déesse de Bubastis, assimilée aux déesses lionnes comme Sekhmet, elle apparaît souvent comme une réplique souriante de ces dernières." (Affholder-Gérard et Cornic, 1990)
