Description
Statue d'Osiris debout, les bras croisés sur la poitrine, le bras droit placé au-dessus du bras gauche. La couronne est ceinturée à mi-hauteur par un diadème autrefois incrusté de verres de couleur reproduisant le motif en "frise égyptienne". Un serpent-uræus au front de la couronne, son corps lové formant un huit renversé derrière la gorge dressée du cobra, se prolonge en ondulations courtes et serrées jusqu'à la base du renflement sommital, en passant par-dessus le diadème. Deux plumes en bronze encadraient primitivement la coiffe d'Osiris. Les yeux sont très grands, une mentonnière court le long des joues jusqu'à l'emplacement de la barbe. Le torse au moins était doré tandis que des traces de gravure indiquent la présence d'un collier-ouser à plusieurs rangs concentriques. Le dieu tenait à l'origine le sceptre-héqa de la main droite, dont la base du manche dépasse encore du poing et dont la trace du crochet se distingue encore sur l'épaule gauche, et le sceptre-nekkekh de la main gauche (dont la base du manche subsiste également sous le poing). Les jambes sont très longues.
