Description
Étude pour une verrière en plein cintre, à deux lancettes et un oculus au tympan, réalisée au crayon et lavis sur papier, rehauts de (gouache ?) blanche ; Sur la lancette gauche : le roi est assis sous un chêne. Il tient un sceptre dans sa main gauche, et fait de sa main droite le signe de la bénédiction. À ses côtés se tiennent trois personnages : un soldat portant un étendard, un homme couronné, un homme écrivant, debout derrière un pupitre. Lancette droite : un homme et une femme sont agenouillés devant le roi. Un groupe de personnages se tient derrière eux. Château en arrière plan.
