Description

Peinture sous verre représentant Saint-Joseph et l'Enfant Jésus, et semblant faire pendant à Sainte-Marie (D-ATP-98-29-189). La plaque comporte 2 niveaux de lecture : - le nom du Saint est inscrit dans une base rectangulaire blanche en lettres noires; - le décor est dit au rideau orangé lequel permet de distinguer plus nettement le personnage. Il porte dans la main droite une branche de lys blanc fleuri, symbole de pureté. Il est vêtu d'une chasuble bleue à col rouge et d'une cape rouge. Il soutient de la main gauche l'Enfant Jésus lequel lui dépose sur la tête une couronne de roses rouge et jaune. La plaque de verre est dans un cadre en bois mouluré peint en noir. La plaquette de bois de protection de la peinture est encore en place comme le carton ou l'étoffe destiné à empêcher le frottement
