À propos de cette pièce : DÜRER : Albrecht Dürer, né le 21 mai 1471 et mort en 1528 à Nuremberg est un peintre, graveur et mathématicien allemand. Il a probablement réalisé une des premières gravures sur bois. Les suites de gravure qui ont fait sa renommée sont deux séries de gravures sur bois - une ' Petite Passion ' composée de 37 gravures et une ' Grande Passion ' de 15 gravures plus une feuille de titre - et une ' Passion ' gravée sur cuivre de 16 feuilles. A cela s'ajoutent une ' Vie de Marie ' de 19 gravures et une feuille de titre et surtout son ' Apocalypse ' rassemblant 15 gravures plus une feuille de titre. Son jeune frère, Hans, est peintre à la cour de Sigismund I.
