Description

Scène du baptème du Christ se déroulant à l'intérieur d'une grotte de rocaille en carton agrémenté de fritte de verre, d'herbes odorantes, d'arbres sur support de soie, de fleurs de tulle, de miroirs et d'oiseaux de verre. La source du Jourdain est évoquée par une anse de verre. Saint Jean Baptiste et le Christ agenouillé à ses pieds. Dans la partie supérieure droite, un berger et ses moutons. Des animaux, chiens, moutons, lapins, cerf, lion évoluent dans l'ensemble de la composition.
