Description
Boîte vitrée ornée avec cadre en bois doré aux angles sculptés. Architecture en carton recouverte de papier dominoté. Dans la partie basse, la Vierge, présente l'Enfant Jésus aux Rois Mages. Le Mage Melchior agenouillé est vêtu d'une longue robe bleue, les épaules sont couvertes d'un manteau royal. Gaspard, vêtu d'une cape verte et coiffé d'un turban tient une pyxide dans la main droite. Balthasar en casaque verte, les épaules couvertes d'une longue cape rouge, coiffé d'un turban présente l'encens. Saint Joseph au fond de la grotte de la Nativité. A gauche une bergère et son troupeau. Dans la partie haute à gauche, Sainte Marie Madeleine allongée dans sa grotte la tête auréolée de papier doré, un pélerin à ses pieds. En haut à droite un berger et ses moutons. Des animaux évoluent dans l'ensemble de la boîte : lion, moutons, chiens, oiseaux, cygne... Une multitude de fleurs ornent la composition.
