Description

Reliquaire cruciforme vitré avec cadre en bois doré. Ornementation de papier roulé et doré sur tranche, dentelle de fleurs, de branches et de rinceaux. Ce reliquaire abrite : un grain du chapelet de Saint Chrodegang (nommé aussi Godegrand), un fragment des reliques de Sainte Jeanne de Chantal, une relique dont le phylactère est illisible, une minuscule Vierge en bois polychrome du XVe siècle mesurant 9 mm et un Christ d'émail blanc. L'Epine de la Vraie Croix provient d'un reliquaire offert au XVIIe par la Duchesse de Nevers à la chapelle Notre Dame de Pitié.
