Description
Ce poudrier se compose dune boîte en carton imprimé en marron foncé mentionnant « Poudre crème lAimant, ocre rosée ». Le symbole Coty est imprimé sur la face inférieure, en partie haute. Le poudrier est de forme ronde avec une charnière saillante opposée au système de fermeture. Il est en matière plastique noir avec, au niveau du couvercle, lincrustation dune plaque de métal modelée en relief et recouverte de matière plastique transparent. Cette décoration se compose de stries en arc de cercle sur le pourtour et dune houppe. Ce motif typique des productions de François Coty a été imaginé en 1910 par Suzanne Lalique-Haviland, fille du maître verrier Lalique. Le dessous porte la marque en relief ainsi quune inscription en caractères dorés indiquant la teinte de la poudre. A lintérieur, un miroir est placé au niveau du couvercle. Un cercle de papier imprimé en rouge explique comment changer le disque dans le poudrier. Un cercle de matière plastique transparent devait venir protéger la recharge de poudre.
