Description
Étude pour une verrière en plein cintre, à trois lancettes et cinq ajours au tympan, réalisée au crayon sur papier.Un ange portant un phylactère est représenté dans chacun des deux oculus du tympan. Les trois lancettes représentent un Portement de croix. Lancette gauche : saint Jean et deux saintes femmes (Marie la mère de Jésus et sans doute Marie Cléophas) sont représentés. Une des saintes femmes tend entre ses mains le Saint-Suaire. Lancette centrale : le Christ porte sa croix. Un homme le devance et tire sur la corde nouée autour de la taille de Jésus (Simon de Cyrène ?). Personnages à l'arrière-plan. Lancette droite : soldats et autres personnages. Dans le lointain, deux hommes portent une échelle et se dirigent vers le mont Golgotha.
