Les éléments constitutifs des riches et splendides rubans que nous allons admirer bientôt, dessin, coloris et fabrication irréprochable se retrouvent dans de nombreux patrons exposés par cette importante maison, qui a très élégamment étagé en quatre colonnes, une dans chaque vitrine, ses piles de rubans façonnés. Nous avons même été surpris de ne trouver là que du broché, du damassé, à peine quelques dispositions à rayures, bref du façonné rien que du façonné, car nous n'ignorons pas que Messieurs Staron & Cie auraient pu tout aussi bien exposer de très beaux rubans unis de leur fabrication.Mémorial (chronique du ruban par Cintas) (28 août 1889).
