Description

Pendule dite "au nègre". Personnage aux yeux émaillé, torse et pieds nus, est coiffé d'un chapeau sur le revers duquel est accrochée une pipe. Il est vêtu d'un pantalon et porte une gourde en bandoulière. Il est incliné en avant vers la gauche, portant sur son dos une balle de coton renfermant le mouvement d'horlogerie. Il s'appuie de la main gauche sur une canne et tient une lettre dans la main droite. Le socle ovale est décoré d'une frise d'inspiration coloniale représentant des singes, palmes, paniers et perroquets.
