encre à couleurs légères sur papier ; La peinture est précédée par une section portant le titre en quatre caractères, par Zhao Huangguang (1559-1625), le célèbre calligraphe de la fin des Ming, signé Hansahn Zhao Huangguang, avec deux sceaux du calligraphe. Elle est suivie de trois sections de colophon séparées. La première comprend trois colophons : le premier est signé Xu Shu Pei (actif c. 1650), suivi de deux sceaux du poète. Xu est un poète et peintre connu du début des Qing. Dans son inscription il dit que Wen exécuta deux versions de cette peinture dont la présente fut donné à la famille de Xu. Le deuxième colophon est signé Lou Dong Wang Zhuan (1623-1709) - peintre et poète très connu - avec deux sceaux de l'artiste. Le troisième est signé Zhuang Chong Sheng, lui aussi un peintre et calligraphe connu (actif c. 1650), avec deux sceaux de l'artiste. La deuxième section contient un colophon signé Gao Shi Qi (1645-1703), avec deux sceaux. Gao fut un important collectionneur et critique au début des Qing. Trois autres de ses sceaux se trouvent sur la peinture et sur la section titre. La section finale contient un colophon signé Gui Fang Chen Rong (1803-?) et daté de l'automne 1862, avec deux sceaux de l'artiste. Par ailleurs, trois sceaux du collectionneur Sun Erzun (1770-1832) se trouvent sur chaque partie du rouleau. (D'après Peter Way)
