Elle est réalisée avec la technique suivante : toile, peinture à l'huile. Elle mesure H. 53 cm ; l. 47,3 cm. Le sujet représenté est : paysage,arbre,paysanne,chêne. Sa période de création est la 2e quart 19e siècle. Complément d'information : DUPRE : Nantes, 1811 ; L'Isle-Adam, 1889 ; Initié très tôt à l'art du décor sur céramique. Elève du peintre paysagiste Jean-Marie Diébolt. Expose pour la première fois au Salon de 1831. Obtient une médaille de seconde classe comme peintre de genre au Salon de 1833. Participe avec de nombreux autres peintres à l'Ecole de Crozant dans les vallées creusoises. Fréquente Barbizon avec Théodore Rousseau. Selon Vincent Van Gogh qui ne cesse de l'associer à Victor Hugo, Jules Dupré incarne l'âme du Romantisme à la française.#Son père, originaire de L'Isle-Adam, dirigeait une manufacture de porcelaines à Parmain. A sa mort, le produit de la vente de son atelier de L'Isle-Adam et de sa collection, par sa famille en 1890, s'élève à 208 660 FF.
