Description
Présentation générale : Structure en bois sculpté et doré à la feuille composé de trois éléments en arc de cercle. Sur le rebord supérieur de chacun d'eux sont fixés de petits cabochons en céramique qui permettent d'y accrocher les lanières de suspension des tambours. Huit tambours cylindriques sont suspendus verticalement à ce cadre semi-circulaire. Chacun de ces tambours de taille quasi identique est accordé à une hauteur précise. Les deux peaux sont montées, traitées et tendues de manière semblable à celles du taphon.La seule différence concerne les lanières de cuir moins nombreuses et qui laissent apparaître le corps du tambour.
