Description
Monument en calcaire sculpté et peint, avec une plaque en marbre noir portant des inscriptions en lettres dorées. Informations données par Pierre Rat : pierre calcaire blanche d'Asnières-lès-Dijon, calcaire rose oolithique et bioclastique du jurassique moyen (variété de pierre de Chassagne), marbre noir de Dinant. La pyramide tronquée est en calcaire blanc peint en noir (test à l'acide chlorhydrique à mi-hauteur sur le côté dextre). ; Monument composé de deux registres. Le registre inférieur est en calcaire blanc orné de volutes végétales et, sur les côtés, de deux angelots, celui de gauche tenant une chute de fruits, celui de droite tenant une chute de fleurs. Ces éléments décoratifs servent de cadre à une plaque de marbre noir inscrite en lettres d'or. L'entablement, en calcaire rose, supporte la représentation sculptée en calcaire d'Asnières, des deux fondateurs de l'Hospice Sainte-Anne de Dijon. Ces derniers sont agenouillés sur des coussins, de part et d'autre d'un prie-Dieu (?) recouvert d'une draperie et sur lequel est posé un livre fermé. A gauche, Pierre Odebert, de face, le visage de trois-quart, vêtu de l'habit de parlementaire, tient le parchemin de fondation de l'Hospice dans sa main droite. A droite, Odette Maillard, son épouse, portant un couvre-chef et une longue robe, est tournée de trois-quart face. Elle a les mains jointes en attitude de prière. Les deux personnages sont figurés devant une pyramide tronquée en calcaire peint en noir, supportant une urne à son sommet.
