En 1890, elle fut rachetée par un industriel, Edmond Rheims (1850-1931) et Léon Auscher (1869-1940), tout jeune ingénieur des Arts et Manufactures. Ceux-ci l'engagèrent dans l'industrie de la carrosserie automobile. L'entreprise fut dissoute en 1825.
