Description

Médaille en or et émail ; Croix en or à quatre branches anglées de fleurs de lys et terminées par huit pointes boutonnées. Sur l'avers : le médaillon central porte l'effigie en pied du roi saint Louis cuirassé d'or, couvert d'un manteau bleu fourré d'hermine, en émail. Il tient de sa main droite une couronne de laurier en émail vert et dans sa main gauche une couronne d'épines en émail vert. Fond en émail rouge L'ensemble était entouré d'une bordure émaillée de bleu portant en lettres capitales d'or la légende ' Ludovicus Magnus Instituit 1693 ' en abrégé : LUD. MAG. INST 1693. Le revers de la médaille manque.
