Description

Description des éléments : La forme de ce petit instrument rappelle celle de la guitare. La caisse de résonance est faite d'une carapace de tatou (les yeux sont figurés par deux petits éclats de verroterie bleue) mais il existe des charango dont la caisse est en bois, piriforme ou occasionnellement sculptée d'une représentation symbolique. La table d'harmonie est ici en bois résineux, le chevalet est en érable ou en hêtre, la touche, sur laquelle sont disposées 16 frettes, est en palissandre et le manche en faux acajou (cedrela odorata). La rosace richement décorée et la pistagne qui borde la table attestent du soin apporté à la facture de ce charango. Une plaque symétrique de rhodoïd recouvre partiellement la table. Notes sur la description : Cet instrument est accompagné d'une méthode audiovisuelle et d'un disque microsillon 33t. intitulés : Aprenda a Tocar Charango con Ernesto Cavour. Un petit fascicule el ABC del Charango complète l'ensemble. Le tout est en parfait état de conservation.
