Lithographie du Cap de la Hève est une oeuvre de estampe, géologie par Lesueur CharLes Alexandre (1778-1846), visible au muséum d'histoire naturelle. papier (estampe) est le procédé utilisé pour cette oeuvre. La pièce a pour dimensions H. 53 ; l. 68. La création de cette oeuvre remonte à la 1ère moitié 19e siècle. On sait de cette oeuvre que : Le Havre, 1778/01/01 ; Sainte-Adresse, 1846/12/12 ; naturaliste, artiste et explorateur français ; En 1801, il voyage en Australie de l'expédition Baudin (1754-1803) mais les membres de la partie artistique et naturaliste sont déjà recrutés et il n'obtient qu'une place d'aide artilleur[2]. Très vite, les capacités d'artiste et de naturaliste de Leuseur, lui permettent de rejoindre l'expédition scientifique. Le capitaine Nicolas Baudin (1754-1803) apprécie tellement son travail qu'il le charge d'illustrer les journaux de bord. Avec François Péron (1775-1810), il endosse la fonction de naturaliste après la mort du zoologiste de l'expédition, René Maugé de Cely. Avec Péron, ils collectionnent plus de 100 000 spécimens zoologiques.
