La scène se déroule dans une cour à l'extérieur, délimitée à l'arrière plan par une balustrade soutenant un vase de fleurs, derrière lequel s'organise un paysage fait de bâtiments et d'arbres. La scène centrale est enserrée par une bordure florale sur les 4 côtés de la tapisserie avec une lisière en bleu et jaune.
