Dans un intérieur, près d'un poêle, un couple est assis a une table tandis que l'un de leurs domestiques les sert. Douze planches figurent les travaux et les occupations des villageois pendant les douze mois de l'année et, dans un nuage, à la partie inférieure, le signe du zodiaque correspondant.
