L'oeuvre dépeint : représentation d'objet (bas-relief, armoiries),scène (saint Georges, équestre, cheval, dragon),armoiries (lion). L'oeuvre appartient à la 3e quart 19e siècle. Précisions sur cette oeuvre : QUEYROY : Vendôme, 1830 ; Moulins, 1893. Il reçoit un enseignement artistique au collège de Vendôme et pratique le dessin académique. Ensuite il complète sa formation de peintre dans l'atelier d'Evariste Luminais, surtout connu pour ses thèmes paysans et ses vues de Bretagne. Il s'intéresse très tôt à la gravure et se spécialise dans la technique de l'eau-forte, reprenant souvent les sujets de ses toiles. Il publie plusieurs albums consacrés aux vues de monuments et villes françaises. Conservateur du musée de Moulins à partir de 1862, il amasse parallèlement une remarquable collection de sculptures du Moyen Age, d'émaux, de faïences et de ferronneries. En 1865, il participe à la création de la Société des Aquafortistes. Imprimerie Liénard à Paris.
