Le musée national du sport conserve Le judo, oeuvre de Guillaume Maurice (sculpteur);Godard (fondeur). Il s'agit d'une oeuvre en bronze, noir, fonte. La pièce a pour dimensions Hauteur avec socle en cm 51 ; Largeur en cm 31 ; Profondeur en cm 19 ; Hauteur en cm 44. Note sur cette oeuvre : Guillaume : Autun, 1920 ; Anet, 2015 ; nationalité : Française#GODARD : L'origine de cette fonderie, encore en activité aujourd'hui à Malakoff, est mal connue. Elle est pourtant assez récente, puisqu'ouverte à la fin du 19ème siècle ou au début du 20ème par un certain Désiré Godard. Cette affaire familiale produisit un certain nombre de bronzes de Carpeaux, Bourdelle, Maillol et Picasso et travailla pour le Musée Rodin, utilisant aussi bien la fonte à la cire perdue que la fonte au sable. Émile Godard, le fils du fondateur, racheta en 1962 l'ancienne fonderie Bisceglia à Malakoff où il installa ses ateliers. (SOURCE : http://www.aracade.net/Statuaire_d_edition.htm, septembre 2008).
