Exemplaire de la revue culturelle hebdomadaire Le flambeau (numéro 22 paru le 23 octobre 1915). La page de couverture en couleurs est illustrée d'une gravure reproduisant un combat héroïque de la mythologie grecque à l'image des décors à figures rouges de la céramique grecque, exception faite de la feuille de pudeur. A l'intérieur, diverses rubriques recettes de cuisine, bon de réduction détachable, des articles traitant de la guerre et de la décoration intérieure et de nombreuses illustrations justifiant l'appellation de revue de luxe. Le premier article intitulé 'Le style boche et l'art français' propose une analyse comparative servant la propagande nationale ; un article illustré intitulé 'Les mutilés artistes' ; une page consacrée aux caricatures mettant à mal l'armée du Kaiser, publiées dans les journaux et gazettes à l'étranger ; extrait de 'L'Attente' par Charles-Henry Hirsch ; pages publicitaires ; page sur la mode et les ouvrages de dames. Parmi les photographies : un coin de tranchée de la 'Main de Massiges', les chiens sanitaires en Champagne, vue intérieure de la cathédrale d'Ypres prise après les bombardements allemands.
